Wednesday August 20th-Jezzebelle is back in Dublin
Hi all,
I'm here in Dublin till August 24th. Tonight I will see Katie Carpenter & Gary Burke of the duo-Jezzebelle at Bruxelle's in Dublin. Should be a great show for the long running Zodiac Nights session. I've been having a great time in Ireland, especially time spent with family in Limerick along the Shannon & up in Co. Carlow in Rathvilly. I love the countryside. Despite the rain, it has been a wonderful time. I don't mind the rain though I know there is sunshine waiting me in So. California. I'm in my last four days of the holiday yet I'm looking forward to getting back to my abbey-normal ways. I miss my fella, my grown kids, my mom, my brothers, my sister in law, my nephews, my job, my radio shows, my friends even my car. I guess I'm homesick. I have the Pacific Ocean blues. Sure I'll be home then I'll be missing the friends & family in Ireland as well as the countryside of Ireland. As I wrote to my co-worker/writer, Stephen Schnee, the plight of an immigrant child is the tug of many places which are homes to one's heart.
